September Music …
Hello, Guys !!
It’s time for September’s music! I’ve put off Nirvana’s Nevermind for two or three months, but I’m ready now! I don’t want this to be too extensive. For the first few months of doing these AI album projects, usually I’d write multiple paragraphs about why I chose whatever project I’d picked, but not this time. It’s not that Nevermind nor Nirvana mean nothing to me. I have quite a tale to tell, and Nirvana played a significant role in the first novel I wrote, ZoToN. That was back in 2003. No, Nirvana had quite an effect on me, and many people in my generation. The bottom line is this: There’s only so much psychic energy to go around every month. I have other hobbies besides creating AI music. I need to keep the ball rolling, and sometimes that means doing the bare minimum. I like creating videos for the music I create, but this time I might stick with a generic placeholder graphic for all songs, and I might not create any lyric videos. I just need to keep the ball rolling.
A few days ago, I created my first myBB site:
“BB” stands for “bulletin board,” by the way. I’ve been wanting to do this for more than ten years. The BB forum has been pushed to the forefront, and the AI music is on the backburner. If I come around to telling a comprehensive Nevermind later on, so be it. In the meantime, I’m merely working on the music, and not much more.

inspiration, and others out there
I started my first YouTube channel back in 2008. Back then (I’m 99% sure), YouTube wasn’t owned by Google yet. It was much like MySpace in that you could customize your home page a lot easier. You even had “friends” as an option, just like MySpace. I played acoustic guitar, and I never thought I’d be a Juke Box Hero, but I had fun. I struggled, I put out content, and I was mostly happy with what I did. I had subscriptions to many acoustic artists, and it was way different than today’s YouTube. You genuinely felt like you were going to listen to your neighbor sing at a local cafe instead of hearing a polished artist sing on a late night talk show. No big deal. Things change.
I like Jessica Greenberg. I listened to her a lot in my early YouTube days. I just now released an AI version of Smells Like Teen Spirit, and I got some of the same emotions I had in my early days. Because of this, I watched Jessica Greenberg’s Heart Shaped Box and it sent me back. I like feeling those same vibes as I felt back when I started. I’m glad I’m doing this Nirvana project. I like how my Teen Spirit rendition has turned out. AI gives you the luxury of trying a few versions without having to spend three months on each one. I shit you not, I tried a “pirate version” of Teen Spirit before I settled on my glam version. You know, “Yo ho! Yo ho! A pirate’s life for me!” I shit you not that I tried it, and I must confess that I liked it. I want to be taken a tiny bit seriously, though. In all honesty, I might’ve stuck with it if it were ten beats per minute faster. Either way, I want to include inspiration here. I don’t want to do Nevermind as a complete album without explaining my reasons, and my inspirations.

Five years ago, I was living in Seattle. One weekend, I decided to go on a roadtrip to Aberdeen. It’s a quaint, coastal town where Kurt Cobain lived. That little yellow house behind me? That’s where he grew up! It was a great experience, and dare I say it was spiritual? Yes! Yes, it was spiritual …
